"Right, okay. It's pretty simple, but we'll start with the stove/oven. It's probably different from what you'e used to, anyway."
Most of it is, so she walks him through the basics of the appliances and how to use them. "Washing machine and all are downstairs in the basement, and now that I have your sizes, we can order you some clothes."
Randel nods to everything she says, taking in the information before they get to the part about the clothes. He looks down at himself and sighs a little.
"It's always hard to find things. I've never really had much more than one or two outfits since I grew."
"I think you'll be surprised." She disappears for a moment before coming back with a laptop to set it on the counter and then pulls up a search on big and tall stores.
".You probably haven't used a computer before, have you?"
"So we'll start slow. You just tell me what you like when you see it and we'll get it ordered." Elena pulls up a store and shifts aside to make room for him in front of the laptop.
"Okay, we'll just start with the basics, then. Jeans, we'll pick out in person, but soft I can handle." Just enough clothing to get him at least started with a wardrobe and then Elena's closing the window and letting her head drop back, eyes closing for a moment.
"I had them shipped overnight so the clothes will be here tomorrow. So for the rest of the day, is there anything you want to do?"
"What do you need done?" he asks automatically. Because he'd like to be useful. And he'd like to do something that will help pay her back for the clothing and the food.
